Q: How does Micro Symplex™ work?
Micro Symplex provides local service backed by the
stability and knowledge of a national network of technical experts.
As a Micro Symplex client, your business will receive computer and
network care from a team of technology management professionals
based out of the local Micro Symplex office near you.
Your Primary Consultant is your main point of contact
allowing you to establish a partnership with Micro Symplex so that
we can help you achieve your technology-based business objectives.
Your Micro Symplex team members are selected and change based upon
your technology requirements. Each local Micro Symplex office has a
wide range of highly trained technology experts to service the needs
of your business now and in the future.
Q: Is there a Micro Symplex™ location near me?
Micro Symplex is headquartered in Phoenix, AZ and currently
has 510 partner offices located in the major metropolitan areas
throughout the continental United States. Please click here to find
an office near you.
Q: Do you sell hardware and software?
Micro Symplex™ Purchase, our technology evaluation and
purchasing assistance service, is one of the many convenience
services that we provide our clients. Under Micro Symplex Purchase,
we will evaluate your technology requirements and recommend
solutions. We will also assist you in placing your order to purchase
any of these solutions. Micro Symplex does not sell technology
products.
We want our customers to have unbiased recommendations and
advice from our technology experts. However, we have established
national alliances with a wide range of technology vendors who offer
Micro Symplex clients’ discounts on their products and services.
If you choose to purchase directly from these vendors, your business
will receive the Micro Symplex Client discount.
Q: What computing platforms do you support?
We support all of the computing platforms used in small
business offices including: Windows 98, 2000, Windows 2000, 2003
server/workstation, Windows XP, Macintosh, Novell NetWare 3, 4, 5,
UNIX, DOS and Linux.
Q: Do you support and service the Mac platform?
Yes we do. We have a large and loyal group of Macintosh
clients. Micro Symplex employs some of the best Macintosh expertise
in the country. We also have many clients who have, what we call,
"mixed environments." These are networks that have both
Macintosh and Windows computers on them. Micro Symplex is the only
national computer and network service and support company that
services these "mixed environments."
Q: How much can I expect to pay for your services?
Micro Symplex services are very competitive. Our premier
service, Micro Symplex Care is the most economical of our computer
and network care services. Under Micro Symplex Care, we perform,
part-time, regularly scheduled monthly service and 24x7x365
monitoring on your KNE (Key Network Elements) on your
technology.
Most Micro Symplex clients begin with a comprehensive Network
Assessment to determine the reliability and stability of their
computing environment. The results of the Network
Assessment help determine how we can help you resolve the amount
of ongoing monthly care your network requires.
Q: Do you provide programming services?
Programming is not one of the Micro Symplex core services.
However, our division ASP
Technology can assist you with programming services.
Q: What is your definition of small business? Is my
business too small? Is my business too large?
Micro Symplex focuses on businesses that have 10 to 100
computers per office or location.
Computer and network care — IT services, come down to
efficiency, reliability and quality. Ask yourself: Does it make
sense for my business to employ a full time in-house IT person(s) or
would it be more cost effective to outsource that service to an IT
partner with a strong technical team of experts?
Are your technology needs great enough to warrant having
full-time staff? Can your in-house staff stay knowledgeable on the
wide range of technology used in your business today and needed
tomorrow? Can your business attract and retain a high level
technical professional who can handle your entire computer and
network support needs?
Most small business offices do not need a full-time,
in-house IT professional or extend in-house IT professional’s
expertise. As, they do need a wide range of technology expertise
that no single in-house person or small staff is likely to be able
to accommodate. For those companies, outsourcing care of the
technology infrastructure to a skilled IT support partner like Micro
Symplex is the right business choice. Contact us today to discuss
your business technology support requirements.
Q: How important is on-site service with all the
advances in remote service technology?
We have built our business on good old-fashioned
intangibles that technology just can’t replace. Micro Symplex
believes that there is no substitute for personal contact and
communication. Our on-site network assessments and consultations
with you allow us to maintain a continuing understanding of your
business requirements and to better assess your technology needs and
concerns to prevent computer problems and network downtime before
they occur.
At Micro Symplex, we know that remote services cannot
replace hands-on computer and network care. For example, remote
services cannot perform maintenance on your three-year-old PC
running Windows 98 or install a firewall or upgrade your network,
etc. No remote service can replace part-time, on-site IT services if
you want stable and reliable technology supporting your business.
Our solution makes good economic sense for businesses with
between 10 and 100 computers. Obviously these are not hard lines. We
certainly have happy and satisfied clients with more than 100
computers, as well; we have satisfied customers with a computer and
network solution totaling less than 10 computers. If you are in
doubt or whether your needs are something we can answer, Let’s
discuss!
